Redesigned Terrace Courtyard

After a year of design and city of Carmel approvals, and three years of drawing and construction of two different phases, the Carmel Tradewinds is now complete.

The highlight is the completely redesigned central courtyard.

It replaces a pool and retaining wall (shown in photo on left) with an enhancing terraced courtyard with a gently cascading stream, secluded sitting areas and a fire pit for those cold Carmel evenings!

Also featured are the totally rebuilt units designed by Charles Gruwell, interior designer, with a fresh new Pacific Rim theme. The entire facility now reflects the team effort of Susan Stilwell, owner, Charles Gruwell, interior designer, Richard Rudisill, contractor, as well as Daryl Hawkins, architect.
